One Day Tour Booking Terms and Conditions:
To make a booking, you must be at least eighteen years old. By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge the obligation to provide accurate and comprehensive information. Furthermore, you confirm that you possess the requisite authority to accept and consent to the terms outlined in these booking conditions. This includes the responsibility for payment on behalf of all participants involved. When making a booking, please inform us of your chosen one-day tour program, including the date you would like to start the tour and the number of participants. Please also provide the full names of yourself and the participants. If there are children participating, provide the number of children and their ages, along with the designated pickup location, such as a hotel or airport. For airport transfers, kindly include the airline name, flight number, date and time of arrival, as well as date and time of departure. If traveling by bus or alternative transportation, please furnish comprehensive details. Upon receipt of this information and official confirmation of your booking, we’ll promptly email you an invoice for a non-refundable deposit amounting to 30% of the total tour cost. Once we’ve confirmed receipt of your deposit payment, your booking will be finalized, and you’ll receive a confirmation email containing pertinent tour details. Regarding the remaining balance, you have two payment options available. You may either transfer funds to our designated bank account before your arrival or opt to pay in cash upon arrival, in Thai Baht or another foreign currency. Should you choose the latter and opt for a foreign currency payment, kindly refer to the current Thai Baht exchange rate. Payment Method / Bank Account Information:
In terms of payment methods, we currently only facilitate transactions via bank transfers. We acknowledge that for some individuals, this might pose an inconvenience, and alternative payment methods may be preferred. Regrettably, at present, we do not offer any other payment options beyond bank transfers. Regarding bank accounts, it’s essential to note that while we are a licensed tour operator sanctioned by the Department of Tourism of Thailand, we operate within the legal framework set forth by Thai regulations. However, it’s important to clarify that we are not registered as a corporate entity. Consequently, all financial transactions are conducted solely through direct transfers to the personal bank account of the business owner, rather than a designated company account. We recognize that transferring funds to personal accounts might raise apprehensions for some individuals, who may prefer to transact with a company account for added security. Unfortunately, we must emphasize that this alternative is not available, and transferring funds to a personal bank account remains the sole method of payment we offer. It’s important to be mindful that international bank transfers typically incur transaction fees imposed by financial institutions, for which you will be responsible. Additionally, please consider that the processing time for such transfers usually ranges from 3 to 4 business days for the funds to reflect in our bank account after completion. Deposit Refund Policy / Change Travel Date / Itinerary Change Conditions:
Please be advised that the deposit for your tour booking is non-refundable in the event you cancel the trip regardless of the reason. Should you wish to change your travel date or itinerary, kindly notify us at least two days in advance. Please note that we are unable to accommodate travel changes requested on the day the trip is scheduled to commence, and once the tour has departed, itinerary changes cannot be made. Additionally, please be aware that alterations to the itinerary may result in an increase or decrease in price, depending on the selected itinerary. Should you opt for an itinerary with a higher cost, you will be required to accept and pay the additional amount. Conversely, if you choose an itinerary that is less expensive than the original, we will refund the difference to you. By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge and agree to the aforementioned terms, including the non-refundable nature of the deposit and the potential for increased expenses in the event of itinerary changes. Refund Policy / Itinerary Change Conditions:
Please be aware that once payment has been made in full and the trip has commenced, refunds will not be available in the event you cancel the trip regardless of the reason. Additionally, in the event of circumstances beyond our control that necessitate changes to the itinerary or prevent the visitation of certain attractions after the trip has begun (such as earthquakes, fires, floods, adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or other force majeure events), we reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to travel itineraries. Rest assured, we will strive to provide you with the most suitable alternative service options available. It’s important to note that any additional costs incurred as a result of such changes will be your responsibility. Conversely, if the alternative service offered costs less, we will refund the difference to you. However, should you choose to decline our alternative service offers, we will not provide a refund, either in part or in full. Children’s Policy:
Children under 3 years are free of charge. Children aged 3-6 years are charged 50% of the adult price, and children aged 6-11 years are charged 70% of the adult price. Please note that children aged 12 years and over are charged the adult price. Activities that are offered as optional and are not covered by the tour price are considered separate from the tour package and its associated contract. Please acknowledge that any arrangements made for optional activities do not establish a contractual obligation between us and these activities. The contractual arrangement for the provision of such optional activities rests solely between you, the participant, and the respective activity provider. We encourage you to exercise your discretion and make informed decisions when partaking in optional activities. While our team is here to assist and facilitate, we want to ensure clarity regarding the independent nature of these activities and the related agreements. Liability:
Mae Hong Son Holidays holds no liability for damages, expenses, losses, or claims that arise due to the actions or oversights of any client. Additionally, we are not responsible for any unforeseen or unavoidable actions or failures of third parties unrelated to the provision of services integral to our tours. This includes events beyond our control, commonly referred to as force majeure. Furthermore, we do not accept responsibility for any instances of loss, theft, or damage to the belongings or personal effects of clients while engaged in our tours. Travel Accident Insurance:
Our comprehensive services encompass travel accident insurance, aligning with the guidelines set forth by the Department of Tourism of Thailand. As stipulated by these regulations, it is mandatory for every tourist availing the services of a travel company in Thailand to be provided with travel accident insurance by that respective travel company. In the event that you book a tour or opt for our car rental services, we kindly request that you furnish us with a detailed name list and individual particulars of all passengers. These particulars should include the first name, last name, date of birth, age, gender, and nationality of each passenger. Rest assured, we facilitate this process seamlessly and at no additional expense. Subsequently, we will transmit the complete name list of all passengers to the designated insurance company. This step ensures that you and your fellow travelers are covered by the requisite travel accident insurance, enhancing your peace of mind and security throughout your journey. Photos and Marketing:
Mae Hong Son Holidays maintains the right to utilize any photographs and videos captured during our tours for marketing or other promotional purposes. By participating in our tours, the client grants explicit consent for the aforementioned use of visual material. Additionally, the client acknowledges and agrees that Mae Hong Son Holidays shall retain copyright ownership over these photos and videos, whether they are taken during the tours or utilized in our promotional materials. In circumstances where it is deemed necessary, the client hereby assigns the copyright of these photos and videos to Mae Hong Son Holidays. We wish to emphasize that this clause is in line with our standard procedures for marketing and promotional activities. However, if the client prefers to abstain from granting such permissions, kindly notify us prior to your departure, and we will fully respect your decision.
